For sure. I THink Bobby and Phil are playing at some of their best levels ever. The guy playing the Jerry parts (originally from Dark Star Orchestra) sounds and plays very much like him. I saw them this spring at the the Broomfield Center and they rocked.
I agree with photo-fish. I was a deadhead (back in the day) and saw Furthur on the first tour they put together after Jerry died. If you get the chance, go see them. It was a great show-from what I can remember :Whistle
Anyone else going to these shows? I am set for Saturday night and scored a single ticket for the Sunday Matinee. I am looking for another ticket for the Sunday show if anyone has an extra.
Going to the Saturday and Sunday shows. Anyone else hitting these?? As of last week, there were still tickets available to the Sunday show. A wise man once told me to never miss a matinee show and he was right. The Sunday show looks to start an hour or 2 earlier. They are playing some real good stuff right now, a couple of new ones, some relics and the old standards too.
I once "saw" the post-Garcia band at Red Rocks, the rain and fog was so bad you couldn't see the stage from our seats. A couple memories, the guy in front of us was passed out the whole show and when we left 1/2 way through, there was a line of ambulances picking up people who had partied too hard.
I would like to see them again under better conditions.
