We just got back from the theatre (Tron:Legacy - it rocks!). Down here in Lakewood the streets are slick - saw one vehicle backing up down an uphill they couldn't make it up and several other slide marks. Please be safe getting home everyone!

so how much snow did you get and what's your temperature?

on the east side of bailey we have about 7 inches of the white fluffy and is 6 below at the present time. it was 8 below earlier. although my mom who i just spoke to and lives about a mile away has about 9 inches and it is 5 below now.

Yes. As long as you keep moving slowly control is possible if you have 4 wheel drive. Try stopping and its obviously all over given that truck sliding down the hill once he stopped. Had a similar situation on our "hill" 25% grade. Neighbor had slid off the road. I tried to stop while creeping down the hill in 4W drive, but the truck kept right on going. There was no stopping so I simply kept going before loosing control. Studded tires might have helped.
