CG, I am currently on the internet using Qwest DSL. It is delivered by phone. I pick up the receiver of my phone and get a dial tone. So there is no problem in certain areas (my supposition).

Just some friendly info, your Qwest DSL can work with the phones down. The DSL come in on your phone line (it piggy backs) but is seperate from your actual dialtone. That is why you have to have the splitters for it to work right.
Qwest had a virus in its system this morning. My biz phone was down and when someone called in, it said the number was disconnected. I called and thy said several thousands numbers had the same issue. Guess I better pay the dang bill. Apparently, they had an attack on the communications. Hmmmm....
