John Denver

More than a dozen years after his death, singer-songwriter John Denver is poised for a comeback. The folk-music hero, whose lyrical optimism captured the freewheeling ways of 1970s Colorado, will soon receive some splashy honors.
On April 21, a bevy of name performers will gather in Broomfield for "John Denver: A Rocky Mountain High Earth Day Celebration." The same night, John Denver will become the first inductee into the new Colorado Music Hall of Fame.
