I got my turntable at Best Buy a few years ago.

I watched the "New Pornographers" on Jimmy Fallon's show a few weeks ago and they were releasing a new album. Jimmy actually was showing the album, not the CD.

I know it's too long, Wayne but your the pro, not me.

I have albums and a turntable safely stashed away. Some of the albums are pretty scratched up, ahhhhh parties long ago.

I saw some albums on Amazon.com, going for $25 each!

Vinyl LPs are indeed making a comeback. There is a shop on the NW corner of Broadway and Quincy that I'll bet has the parts you need, Gold Sound is the name of the business. 303-789-5310.

Good luck.

oops - I wanted to preview the message but instead submitted it!!!!!!!! I called Gold Sound like Eddie suggested. Spoke with a very nice & helpful person who fired up my brain! The belt had been on the turntable all along...I just hadn't turned the platter over to see that the belt was wrapped around an "extension" to the platter. Once I found it...the rest is history.

I am currently rockin' to my Mother Lode & DANCIN' around like a fool. My dogs & cats do not know what to make of all of this!

:woo hoo: :woo hoo: :woo hoo: :woo hoo:
