So it got really windy and I looked out the window. I thought it was rain blowing sideways, but no, just pollen. Hopefully that cleared it all out of the trees, and now the rain will wash it all away. We can only hope!

We are still waiting on the big event here in Bailey but the air was yellow in Buffalo Creek today!

I've been seeing yellow on the deck, but haven't seen it blowing through the air yet.
I'm hoping that the rain this weekend will take care of it.
So far my allergies haven't kicked in, but the season is still young.

Weird thing about the pollen this year. I am the one who usually has a violent allergic reaction while hubby sails through pollen season with nary a sniffle. This year I'm fine and he is the one sniffling and sneezing and reaching for the allergy meds.

No idea why this switch!

Two days in a row now I've gone out to find pinedust all over my car!!! Hopefully this weekend will bring enough rain to wash it all away and take out the "Very High" fire danger!

I have been told that few people are actually allergic to pinedust. It gets the blame because it is what is so visible when other allergies are kicking your butt.
Do a search on the web, there are many sites out there that support this. My allergies don't seem to bad this year, but we still have the yellow coating all over the deck, cars, bbq, and outside furniture.
