He's definately a strange bird. Miles will out coach him. If youre gonna watch one regular season College football game in the last 10 years, this is it. LSU will feed off the bedlam in Tuskaloosa and win by between 1 and 8 points

Interesting no one really addressed your question. How far should looser fall. It will depend on how the game plays out. If it is a real battle, then the looser will not fall far, perhaps 3 or 4 spots tops. Of course much will depen on how the other top ranked teams perform. If it is lopsided I can see them dropping 6 or more spots. We are talking SEC and everyone knows they are top dog.
Given game results and commentary I've read, Alabama may loose a place or two at most. Stanford just kept winning, but is not spectacularly dominant. Oklahoma St. won, but also gave up a ton of points to #14 Kansas St. Given that they won and remain undefeated I expect them to move up. Stanford remains undefeated, but I doubt anyone thinks they have a chance against Alabama or LSU, so I expect Alabama to slip to 3rd and would be surprised if they fell below Stanford, much less Boise State.
I was unimpressed with both LSU and Alabama tonight. Too many mistakes and missed opportunities. It was like watching two teams who didn't want to win. I would expect Alabama to fall below Stanford, they don't deserve to be #2 or even #3. But then LSU didn't look like a #1 team at all.
