In no other sport do the officials make as much as a difference as it does in the NBA and they still make kobe calls all the time. I thought maybe, just maybe after Tim Donaghy they would be forced to make a change but as usual Stern is still a d*ck.
I don't think they are taking bribes, but they understand TV ratings and will do what they can to keep the superstars in the game. No one wants to watch a Laker's game with Kobe fouling out in the first period.
