Sad to see one of the original Greek events be shut down when so many less worthy events remain like Modern Pentathalon still are going on. Not only do you have the history, but wrestling is a sport smaller, poorer nations can compete in, and many different weight classes.
Modern Pentathalon? Rich man's sport, and you never see it locally like wrestling which in in high schools everywhere.
