The Bears end Farves career, and the Viqeens season

The Chicago Bears have played in 2 Super Bowls: 1986 win over Patriots under Mike Ditka, and 2007 loss to Colts under Lovey Smith.

That's the same number as the Bengals! (Of course, they lost both)

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

I think VL is including the NFL championship games prior to being called "Super Bowls". In which case the Packers have more.

Super Bowl Champions: (3)
I (1966), II (1967), XXXI (1996)

NFL Champions (pre 1966): (9)
1929, 1930, 1931, 1936, 1939, 1944, 1961, 1962, 1965

Can you believe Bronco fans are talkin s*** to us? Newby AFL expansion teams fans talking crap to Bears and Packer fans? lol
Next time The Pack n Bears meet it will be like the 400th time.

RockDoc-We were playing football in Chicago and Green Bay during the Wilhelminian Era.. Shouldn't you arm youself with just a little bit of knowledge on the subject before you enter the debate? Just some basic knowledge?

My god.

Thanks SC. I stand corrected, the number is two. Both the Vikings and Denver have gone to more super bowls than the Bears, even though they have not played nearly as long as the Bears. NFL championship games don't count no matter how you may wish to twist things VL. When faced with facts you either ignore the facts or spout some unrelated crap as opposed to answering the facts. You could take lessons from SC, but I imagine that is beneath your manhood to actually learn something in life.

Rockdoc-Your immaturity never ceases to amaze me....George Halas started the NFL, the Bears started it all. To compare this little cowtown, AFL expansion, finesse team to the Monsters of the Midway is like comparing the Seattle Pilots to the New York Yankees, It's ridiculous. I refuse to even engage in such a ludercrious debate. Learn a little about the game if you want to discuss it. So talk about rocks, talk about German "footy", talk about your spandex biking outfits and little helmet, talk about the twinkling snoflakes again, but don't talk about American football, ok?

You just stay over in the pseudo intellectual section where you belong

Swear to god. I did'nt become a Bear fan until 69 when my dad brought Ed Obradovich to our house one day..For drinks
