It seems the bears went into hibernation and will not emerge until fall. It's time for a wine and cheese party. Game turned out closer than I expected after the initial start. Once into the second half it settled down into a traditional divisional battle.

True. Seems they were concerned about a potential turn over and played not to loose instead of to win. It's what kills you in every sport when you begin to take the position of playing not to loose.
