COFA-Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America June 2019 Outdoor events and dates, Come and join us!

June 8th, COFA target shoot: Men and women Bring your rifles, handguns, shotguns, and hearing protection and your shooting glasses. We will provide tables and chairs to shoot from. We will have COFA ministry team leaders help you with sighting in your handgun or your rifle. Limited to 15 people. Text Mike at 303.880.9878 and your name and contact number if you would like to go.
June 15th Archery class 9:00 to 12:00 noon, learn how your bow works, how to tune up your bow and shoot on the range under the direction of COFA expert Mike Langley. This class is for beginners, intermediate and advanced shooters. Bring your bow, targets will be provided. Great for kids. Free (GREEN-BARN) for more information contact Mike Langley at 719.459.6361. June 15th COFA ATV Ride (Front Range), COFA will have an ATV ride, TBA, contact George at 303.880.3800 for additional information.

June 22nd, Take a kid fishing Day, Main Reservoir Park, Lakewood 9:00 to 11:30 AM

June 29th Dutch Oven Cooking class Morrison at the Green barn 9:00 AM- 11:30 AM: If you want to learn how to use your Dutch oven and learn some new recipes on main course meals and desserts, come and join the COFA cooking team on June 29th at 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Learn how to make a cobbler, beef stew, sourdough bread, ribs and Red Chili meals in your Dutch oven. June 29th NRA Western Big Game round table (for Elk and Deer) COFA will present the NRA Western Big Game Hunting Round Table (hands-on, in the field) On Saturday from1:00 PM to 3:30 PM Calling all men, women, and kids who want to learn big game hunting techniques for elk, and deer. This year's hunting season is fast approaching. This hands-on seminar NRA seminar is geared for the western big game hunter. This will be a hands-on class with sharing and insights from all who attend. We will have you learn how to use elk calls, how to use pop up ground blinds, and tree stands. How to use elk and deer scents and decoys. How to find the right area to hunt when you don't have time to scout. Learn how to use a GPS and map and find good hunting spots. How to hunt bad weather and be safe. Many more techniques will be discussed and how to apply them when you hunt. COFA Fall Retreat Bemidji MN, September 20-25th
, COFA (Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America) is offering the getaway of a lifetime in the great state of Minnesota. You will experience some of the greatest walleye fishing in the US located in the heart of North Central Minnesota, plus some great scenery and fellowship. This trip is open to singles, couples, and families! Great for men and women who love to fish! November 9th, Free Kids Turkey Shoot
Front Range, Lakewood, COFA’s members believe in passing to the next generations our values, skills, and pastimes. A Turkey Shoot is a great way to do all three at the same time.

Kids ages 8-15 will have an opportunity to use a B.B. gun on paper targets to win great prizes, including a frozen turkey (must be present to win). Other activities include a climbing wall, archery, outdoor education experiences, and more!!
