Enemies of our freedoms

Since several of the Democrats have openly said the measures proposed and passed already by the Colorado House of Representatives will not prevent another mass killing, then what is the justification for imposing more restrictions on gun rights against legal citizens? The history of gun control is very evident as a way to control the people of a nation by their own oppressive government. Imposing an arbitrary number of rounds contained in a "legal" magazine will promote people to seek them where they are legal. For proof, look at fireworks as an example. Do politicians think an underground/black market for higher capacity magazines won't be created? Or is the sole purpose to entrap those that didn't get them prior to the law taking effect? The armchair imbecils that think 5 or 6 rounds is enough for defense of ones self or home clearly haven't had to actually use their guns in this manner. Want proof, speak to police officers, deputy sheriffs and our military. Not the politically motivated police chiefs, but the typical street cop. When bullets are flying in both directions, round count is meaningless unless you run out first. When arrogant politicians use words like sensible gun control laws, it means expect the mass murders to continue because we didn't restrict the rights of the law abiding enough. They say these laws will make us safer but won't put their careers on the line to prove it. We have an administration that made sure illegal gun sales took place until it was exposed by good people within BATFE. Americans died, as did countless Mexican citizens as a result of these acts and where is the justice? Now we can look forward to losing a company like Magpul as a result of this ridiculous legislation.

Just taking legal guns out of the hands of citizens.

A historical note: The Japaneese had plans in place to invade the USA from the West Coast BUT for a parallel concern that because the citizens were armed (Thanks to the Second) they certainly could have but elected not to do so. The Japs are warriors, brutal and based on historical fact as in Asia would have raped and pillaged the coast. The Congress (as now) had reduce our armed forces to essentially a Boy Scout Troop (s). The Second saved the lives of many 100,000 easily. Recall of a few pols is a good start.....and may get the point across. BUT Americans are sheep and IMHO will be steadily disarmed and imprisoned within our borders.

Are you all proud to be part of the group threatening to kill our legislatrators and rape their children? I've been somewhat sympathetic, but the mania for guns is obviously warping the reality of some of your compatriots- perhaps even yours. These behaviors are beyond the pale and will drive more and more people towards supporting gun control.

I despise the 2nd amendment supporters that threaten violence on anti- gun politicians and their families. But mire ironic are the anti-gun people threatening the NRA's Wayne LaPierre and his family. Hillfarmer are you happy to have like minded idiots on your side? Each side will attract nuts and unreasonable people.
