IREA is en route to shut down power to the area. Fire is getting close to power line poles.

IREA is working with officials at #NorthTurkeyCreekFire to minimize danger, which has required service interruption to 58 area homes.


Brush fire closes US 285 in both directions at Turkey Creek Road. Crews have been dispatched. Updates to follow.

Mountain fire is impacting some bus routes. Students from Marshdale, Parmalee, West Jeff Middle & West Jeff Elementary may be affected. 1/2
Parents will receive a message if their students are affected. 2/2 #NorthTurkeyCreekFire

UPDATE Elementary students may be picked up at their school. (Just for routes W43, W12, W22, W16. ) Middle & high students may be picked up at West Jeff Middle. (Just for routes W43, W12, W22, W16.)
