Wildland fire 3 mi. E/NE of Buffalo Creek, east of Raleigh Peak. Size: 0.1ac. Lightning caused, Resources on scene.

This is called the Raleigh Fire, fire is creeping, no additional resources needed at this time, no structures in danger.

There is a second fire nearby called the Lions Gulch Fire that firefighters are already on, and a smoke check reported at Mt Galbraith that firefighters are heading to check.

Down in Morrison, lightning has started a small wildland fire at the will call entrance to Red Rocks Park, it's under half an acre in size. Red Rocks Park Road at Red Rocks Trail Road is now closed to traffic.

West Metro Fire is requesting mutual aid assistance of a tactical tender from Evergreen Fire for the Red Rocks Fire. The road is now closed at the Trading Post.

The Raleigh Fire is now reported as 0.5 an acre in size. Bringing a helicopter in to assist.

New smoke check called in for a plume of smoke spotted between Lookout Mountain and Table Mesa.

Unable to locate anything on the Lookout Mountain smoke check it sounds like.

Raleigh Fire is now about an acre and a half, flame lengths of 1-2ft. Concerned that it's heading north toward the river.

Lightning-caused fire at Red Rocks. Approximately one and a half acres. Fire is out, our crews are mopping up. The entrances to Red Rocks Amphitheatre are now back open.
