#FoxtonFire: Wildfires on River Road, evacuations lifted

Per cosmiccowboy55: Evacuation orders down at River Road. in North Fork Fire’s District. Suspected arson 3-4 fires.

North Fork Fire:
mutual aid requested from Jeffco, USFS, Elk Creek, Platte Canyon, Indian Hills, Foothills, InterCanyon, Evergreen and neighboring agencies. River Road is CLOSED!!

4 fires along CR 96 Cathedral Spires to Foxton. River Road closed at Foxton and River Road to 126

Evacuations being ordered to the area near River Road, cathedral spires, resort creek road. 3-4 fires, intentionally set

Hoping to evacuate people to Elk Creek Elementary.

We're over it. There are three separate areas of fire along the creek, each separated by 100 yards or more.@KOAColorado

Staging at 126 and 96. Roughly estimating 20-25 acres.

Any information on if the evacuation includes buffalo creek? Thank you

From Jeffco Sheriff:
We’ve issued an evacuation order for the Foxton area due to a fire. The best routes out of the area are to the East up Foxton to Reynolds Ranch. An evacuation center has been established at Reynolds Ranch. If you need help to evacuate, call 911 #jeffco

UPDATE: The evacuation center has been moved to Elk Creek Elementary. Nursing staff will be on site #jeffco

Smoke is visible from Kuehster Road area to the south. Firefighters from @ICFPD have responded to assist @NorthForkFire with initial attack

North Fork Fire:
There was apparently a glitch in the reverse 911 system, people who did not need to get notice to evacuate were notified, you should’ve received a retraction. The evacuation notice should’ve gone to the area with a 1 mile radius around green store at 1:26 and 96.
