Evergreen Fire/Rescue @efr_co 16m
EFR has a squad on the#560Fire. This is a good reminder that with the warmer/drier conditions it is very possible for a wildfire. PLEASE be extra careful as COVID precautions make it extra difficult for us to fight wildland fires.

From From Lake George Fire Protection District:
Yesterday Lake George Fire got called to a fire up the Matakut road. Although almost every volunteer showed up to search for and fight the fire, only 3 trucks went the distance to the fire scene. The remainder stayed behind in case Lake George's District would have any calls. This fire was not in Park County. Not even close. The fire was nearly 24 miles up the Matakut in Jefferson County near Cheeseman Reservoir. 2 trucks and 4 volunteers stayed and assisted until dusk. The fire was 59 acres in steep terrain. The lines held overnight and the USFS has command today. The fire was named The 560 Fire.

From Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District:
Firefighters from ICFPD responded as mutual aid support to the #560fire on Saturday. Additional firefighters, EMTs and paramedics remained in the district to respond to emergency calls. Thanks to our volunteers for their work during challenging times.
