Per cosmiccowboy55: accident Hwy 73 at Blue Creek Rd and Hwy 285 at Santa Maria.

Scanner: Elk Creek Fire made it to scene of Hwy 73 and Blue Creek Rd, single vehicle slid off the road, driver self-extricated.

Also, Evergreen Fire was called to a reported accident on Hwy 74 between MM 11-12. No further updates to share.

Evergreen Fire personnel not on scene at the Hwy 74 between MM 11-12 accident can stand down.

Elk Creek Fire personnel are assessing patients on Hwy 73 at Blue Creek Rd, one still in the vehicle. Incoming personnel can slow to routine. Please be very careful going past the accident scene.

Stalled vehicle expect delays
CO 9 southbound at Mark Court (near Hoosier Pass) at Mile Point 79.8. The southbound lane has a stalled semi truck. Use caution and expect delays.

Elk Creek Fire reports that Hwy 73 is extremely slick, asking for Road & Bridge to bring sand to put down.

1405 Accident at Kings Valley. One vehicle reported blocking all north bound lanes.

Elk Creek Fire was called out to an accident outside of 12394 S US Hwy 285 which would place it at Kings Valley.

avoid Deer Creek Canyon. A semi tried to go up Deer Creek and got stuck. There are several cars in the ditch that tried to go around the truck, so Deer Creek is essentially closed near the bottom. We had to turn around and head back up.
