The opening of Staunton State Park has been pushed back to late spring of next year because of construction delays.
Jennifer Marten, the manager for Staunton State Park, which is north of Pine Junction, said the decision to postpone the opening was finalized on Friday Oct. 19. The park was supposed to open in late October.
