Defense Department's $600,000 Fairy Sculpture?

"Wow, they can't afford hot lunch programs for seniors; or funds for NPR; or funds for Planned Parenthood.... But they CAN afford $600,000 for a sculpture of a fairy riding a toad...."

I would say the seniors who need a hot lunch and those soon-to-be unemployed at NPR and Planned Parenthood should go down TODAY and see a recruiter about joining the military. Then they would have three hots and a cot. It's the perfect solution. rofllol

Yes, you WOULD think that pressing poverty-level SENIORS into military service was a good idea...

Welcome to "compassionate conservatism"... That's why I think the fascists on the right are basically degenerates... But I digress....

If you're going to have a sculpture at the Defense Department, why not have one that's inspiring to our military?

I think we should press elderly gays into military service too. A special draft with a special mission in the hinterlands of Waziristan where they can learn about REAL compassion and tolerance.

Nah, we can just look to the fascist GOP and teabaggers for lessons in "compassion" and "tolerance"...
