MADISON, Wis. - State Supreme Court Justice David Prosser says his challenger would face a tough recount.
Prosser says it would be like "hand-to-hand combat" for JoAnne Kloppenburg to somehow find 7,500 votes. However, he says he's not declaring victory yet.
Unofficial returns from Tuesday's election initially showed Kloppenburg with a narrow lead. Then Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus said she didn't report 14,000 votes in the county, a change put Prosser ahead by 7,500 votes.
Nickolaus worked for Prosser when he was a Republican legislator but says it was an honest mistake. Prosser says he doesn't remember her working for him but he has met her a few times.
Kloppenburg has started raising money for a recount but hasn't said she will seek one. Election workers are still verifying results statewide.

Yep... And they're about to speak with their votes again when they recall the right-wingers from the state senate, and even the Governor, next January...
Isn't it simply amazing that another GOP election official just HAPPENED to make a "human error" that skewed the outcome of an election! (I can only imagine what the righties would be screaming about if this happened to be a Democratic election official, and the election got swayed to the Democratic candidate...)
not a chance, the people that didn't protest in Madison, will vote many democrats out..walker will do just fine..I feel bad for the fleebaggers..they will be history!
And, as usual, the GOP gets a bare majority to win an election, declares that it has a "mandate", and immediately oversteps the bounds of what the voters will stand for. The polls are already showing the severe case of "buyers regret" that the electorate has for Walker and his cronies... I agree...an "adjustment" is coming... And not just in Wisconsin...

Kind of reminds me of how that worthless POS Al Franken got elected...kinda works both ways huh? rofllol
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
LJ, weren't you the one that said the people had spoken, when you thought the liberal won? Doesn't that mean the people have also spoken when your candidate lost?
I don't think people "Love" walker, but I think a majority of this country has finally come to the realization that some tough decisions had to be made, and regardless of whether or not they like what has to be done, they are resigned to the fact that it MUST be done.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Don't believe everything the union commies tell you?
Yep, I did think that...before a known GOP operative suddenly...miraculously...found 14,000+ votes the very NEXT DAY that turned it around... So, even if the right-wing judge wins retention, the people will speak again with their next vote...as is their right. And if Walker and his cronies get recalled, then I will cheer even more.
Oh, and the obligatory: rofllol rofllol rofllol rofllol
