Talk about screw ups. The Statue of Liberty pictured on a new U.S. stamp is not the neoclassical icon on Liberty Island in New York Harbor but the replica at the New York New York Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Government run, what do you except? Question, HOW much did this "artist" get from U.S. to design this stamp?
bet he/she lives in Ca. and LAs Vegas is a lot closer than NY, so we got charged for a trip to NY, when he/she only went to Vegas.
Personally I find this pretty funny and possibly appropriate. Now the immigrant dream isn't just getting to Ellis Island, it is striking it rich, possibly in Vegas.
Side Note: Anyone noticed at New York New York, they never had their versions of the World Trade Centers. Interesting that they choose to leave out these buildings long before 9/11.
