Of course their only obligation is tao their shareholders. That's the point. These corporations aren't Americans even though they've been granted civil rights. They have no loyalty or love for th US. Considering Exxons tax bill I'm not crying that we over tax them at all. I believe that is a myth, only a corpoation with the most inept of accountants pays the going tax rate. Most pay a rate in the single digits or even recieve rebates while simulataneously accepting huge subsidies. We surely don't see these passed on to the consumer. Does your bank offer you loans at the rates they get from the feds? If so, please let everyone here know. Everyone but the average citizen is amply represented and advocated for in our government. I wouldn't waste any tears on them.
