The woman made the decision to reproduce. She does not have the right to change her mind and rescind that decision once it is made.

You are being mighty presumptuous in saying a woman made the decision. Not all pregnancies are by choice but forced upon the woman. And, no matter what you maintain, there is always a right to change your mind. Your statement is akin to saying that if a married man accepts a job you no longer have the right to rescind that decision because he is is responsible for the well being of his family.

Liberals always want to make the exception the rule. Then allow the vast majority to abuse the intent of the rule. Face it, abortion is birth control for the women of very loose morals.

And jobs are not equal to the life of a child. Apples and oranges and all that. Get real RF. Babies are much more important.

Loose morals on the part of women aren't the cause of rape or incest.

Millions and millions of rapes per year.
The screaming liberals always bring out the rare exception in order to make a rule so that they can then do whatever they want. Liberals have one trait; they are not truthful.

Conservatives have a number of traits.

One of them is they generalize.

Eliminate funding that didn't pay for the 5,580 abortions performed in Indiana last year, one state's slice of the 27% of U.S. abortions done by Planned Parenthood each year! Never mind all those private clinics doing them...or will be doing more of them now.

And now that women won't have access to low-cost birth control, gynecological check-ups, and cancer screenings, will we get an increase in problems due to a lack of those services? Will those 5,500+ women who would've gotten abortions at Planned Parenthood this year now just get them somewhere else, or will us taxpayers just being paying for those low-income kids now with food stamps and welfare? Cuz you know men and women aren't going to stop having sex. Or being stupid about it, since we aren't allowed to teach kids the truth but just :can't hear about the fact that they are doing it and being irresponsible. As if we didn't already have too many people on this planet, now we're going to add more - brilliant!

It has been shown time and again that government funding of services like Planned Parenthood lowers costs to taxpayers, increases the overall health of a society when family planning is practiced, and increases the living status of individuals who don't get overburdened with children, but hey, the end is near so let's breed like rabbits and head toward that cliff a hell of a lot sooner! :bash :bash

Just in case you wanted to know where I got my abortions statistics for Indiana:

Face it! You are a control freak. You have listed how you do not want the kids of low-income people. You hate poor people. So you just want to kill them.

You are a pitiful human being.

Really?
Compare the number of abortions per year with the number of rapes and then tell me that I "generalize".
If you already knew this statistic then you are not being truthful with your argument.
If you did not already know this then you are being untruthful by making statements as fact that you do not know to be fact.

I was being spot-on. I did not generalize.

  Wow, way to make a whole lot of assumptions there!

I guess you don't recognize sarcasm when you see it. My point is that this law is stupid - it won't do anything to "protect the unborn" or address the reasons why women go to get them in the first place, so it accomplishes absolutely nothing. Rah-rah, yea! ...Until Planned Parenthood sues to get funding re-instated, it is, and then this idiot governor can do a politician's usual grandstanding "See! I tried! Vote for me, sheep, and I'll keep wasting my time trying but make y'all feel good about it in the process, and in the meantime we'll do nothing to lower abortion rates, or save the economy!" Sweeeeet! NOT!

Your argument will be that these are crimes against other people. Well, guess what, buddy, abortion involves another individual, the baby. And abortion is murder.

Face it. You have no morals. That immoral relativism went out way back in the 70's along with sensitive men.

Planned Parenthood rakes in money from patient fees and large donors. So why do they need ANY federal funding? And why does anyone think they do a better job providing health care services for low-income women? Why did Oblama and gang cut funds from Community Health Centers yet protect funding for PP?

According to the American Principles Project last year Community Health Centers performed 320,000 mammograms while Planned Parenthood did none.

“All the while a sharp knife was being taken to community health centers that actually perform full-scale exams for the needy. These health centers offer prenatal care to women and their babies – 480,000 times in 2009 alone. Planned Parenthood? Their 850 clinics average less than one prenatal visit a month, in other words, it’s not their line of work,” Cannon added.
