At least you admit your hypocrisy... But then, you were okay with killing anyone who didn't share your political views... So we shouldn't be surprised.

I bet those teachers won't be teaching treason to their students - like they are doing in Tuson.

You haven't answered my question. Do you think we should only present viewpoints that uncritically support our own culture and ecnomic system?

One of the Koch brothers controversially bankrolling faculty positions at Florida State University

A conservative billionaire who opposes government meddling in business has bought a rare commodity: the right to interfere in faculty hiring at a publicly funded university.

A foundation bankrolled by Libertarian businessman Charles G. Koch has pledged $1.5-million for positions in Florida State University’s economics department. In return, his representatives get to screen and sign off on any hires for a new program promoting “political economy and free enterprise.”
<snip>
Somehow, I'll bet that's okay with you? Or are you blind to your fascist brothers?

And pray tell us LJ how this is in any way different from the federal government deciding what the BAC level will be, the size a child must be before they don't have to be in a car seat, the speed limit on the highway, whether or not there is a primary seat belt law in the state, whether a hospital can receive Medicare/Medicaid funds and a host of other similar situations.

The university is free to turn down the money if they don't like the conditions attached to accepting them because it interferes with their sense of propriety and academic freedom.

Here's your answer from me.....

Schools- especially grade schools- should not be indoctrinating our children with communist idealism. They should not be teaching our children to hate America- to hate Americans, to hate capitalism.

This country became a great economic power using those principles, free markets and capitalism- teaching communist propaganda to third graders should be punishable with prison time.

Just as teaching capitalist "propaganda" was punishable by prison time under Stalin?

Where are you going AspenValley? You think it's OK to teach this garbage in public schools?

Is that what you want your children learning?

Why not move to North Vietnam or Cuba?

Why do you want to live in the USA with all the greedy capitalists?

Where I am going with this is that it is impossible to have a free society when you advocate sending to prison or death those who disagree with you.

What was being forwarded in those excerpts was not consistent with a free society AV. Stalin's model of governing is similarly inconsistent with a free society. Collective salvation is inconsistent with a free society as well.
