I'd be curious to hear from the local realtors. Is the first question people ask before moving here, where is the Rec Center? rofllol

The silent majority will be silent no more.

I would not condemn this area. It's location is convenient and highly accessible to Denver. It is only a matter of time before things take off in a direction many of would prefer it not go.

Just out of curiosity, do any you create custom software?

What do you mean by custom software? Most developers work on custom software.

On the subject of start-ups, that story went on to say:
"The success of Boulder as an entrepreneurial ecosystem is not merely attracting smart people—it’s really about the community. Notably, in Boulder and the surrounding areas, there is an amazing willingness of successful entrepreneurs to help the up-and-comers. " That seems to be true in Boulder & areas up north.
Who would expect McGuckin's Hardware to donate $5,000 in tools to the new Tool Library, for example, costing themselves future sales. Kind of refreshing, not the usual dog eat dog. Great ideas get a chance.

And hey, good news: some 10,000 jobs are coming to Colorado thanks to the high-tech growth up north (see http://www.FlatironsBound.com) - and the NASA deal sealed it with a kiss. P.S. I shovel my own snow - I'm saving up for a plow.

Why are people in Boulder, Colo., at the top of the nation's measurable well-being - and those in Huntington, W.Va., at the bottom?
