Who says you can't eat healthy and inexpensively on $30K? Eliminating the carry-outs and dine-outs along with actually LEARNING to cook healthy is what it takes. Oh and excercising. And you don't need a gym or rec center.
And your opinion as to whether or not the Obamas should practice what they preach, is? Anyone?
:snapoutofit:
I never heard them preach TOTAL abstinance from those sorts of foods have you? I have heard them talk about being sensible about what we put into our bodies. Common sense tells ME that if I eat pizza and gyros every day (No matter how much I would like to but still can't afford) my health will suffer. Do you really think the Obamas eat like that every single meal of every day? Or maybe you believe that because they are in the spotlight that they should not be seen eating those types of foods at all?
What is the problem? That President Obama eats pizza? That he scarfs down unlimited amounts (unsubstaniated by the way)? That he has the chef flown in? The strident standards that he imposes upon everyone else (not sure how he is imposing this upon the masses)? That tamales and pizza have somehow become opulent excess? What EXACTLY is the problem that you are bitching, excuse me, copying and pasting about?
