What you are seeing is what you expected to see....first there is a D after his name, so your pre-concieved notions of what being a democrat meant kicked into high gear. I won't bring up being black because I know that his being a liberal is what really mattered, you would never give ANY liberal a chance....it's not Obama that everyone seems to hate so much, it's any liberal no matter who he or she is.

I have no illusions about Obama, he wasn't my first choice as president, and he hasn't done 1/10th the things I had hoped for from a liberal president. I'd like you to point out where I have ever said I don't see anything wrong with him....I think most of the liberals here have been more than honest in saying he hasn't done what we expected and many are disappointed in what we have received.

That being said, until, and unless, we ever see a viable candidate from the Republicans who looks any better, yeah.....I will stick with Obama because I think he will do a lot less damage to this nation than who the Repuiblicans have available to run for president. Pardon me for caring about my country.

Which brings up the question.....will you vote for any Republican, just because they have an R after their name, even if you think they would make a crappy president?

Seriously? you do? I only remember one, after many of the liberals asked conservatives what they thought of his posts we got nothing, dead silence. Same with BearMtnHIBs posts about wanting to kill some of the liberals so the rest would back off. Not a single conservative would step up. So don't go saying that conservatives are any better at this than liberals. We are all firmly lined up on our own sides with a "take no prisoners" attitude.
