Barack Obama is expected to raise a Billion dollars between now and the election. Thats a million million! Why do the right wing lame brains here even talk about 2012 as if they have a chance? It's over!
So I will ignore any election threads from now until November 2012 because they are all merely execises in futility. Obama will be our president for the next 6 years.
(Actually, it's a THOUSAND million... But who's counting?)
Of course, between the Koch Brothers, and all of the other foreign, and corporate interests, and the billionaires who can anonymously hide their donations, a Billion Dollars for Obama may not come close to what the Righties can raise... (And yeah, I can see all those union groups being able to go head-to-head against the billionaires... Why, with 12.4% of the workforce, I'm sure they'll have much more money to give to political races than the corporations...)

I guess that's why in '08 Obama spent more on his campaign than Kerry and Bush did combined, right?

Actually last poll I saw Romney for 47% to Obama's 44. I think this will be a close one, much more than 2008. And a lot depends on the unemployment and inflation numbers.
$5 gas and 9% unemployment will bring us a Republican President.
I have heard they use billion dollars to intimidate the Republicans who not only have to raise a billion for the general election, but hundreds of millions for the primaries.
So far my checkbook is still locked.
