Spin it however makes you feel better.
Actually the jury is still out if Wiener did anything illegal, I heard rumours last weekend he was sexting underage girls, irony, would violate one of his own bills.
Statement at 2PM Washington today. Rush Limbaugh says they try to schedule these things after his show so he can't comment on them live. More ego? Or accurate?

probably neither......I doubt they care one way or the other when Rush's show is.

They've already investigated the "underage girls" thing, and he texted to a 17-yr old, but it turned out to be nothing of a sexual nature...
Like I said, spin it however makes you feel better.
Thanks, archer, I thought it was appointment. Still think it will not really matter he'll be replaced by another dem, just not a pitbull attack dog dem.

Vitter probably committed illegal acts, but was never charged with anything. It was past the statute of limitations, and I don't know if any of the Johns involved with that service ever got charged. But still, his case is similar to Bill Clinton, IMO. Both cheated, both probably committed illegal acts, neither was convited (other than an impeachment), and both stayed in office.
Ensign certainly cheated and had ethics issues, but it's too early to say if he did anything illegal. He says he didn't (so does John Edwards and we'll see how that goes). It remains to be seen if charges will be filed and if anything goes to trial.
