CB, don't forget Barry said all he had to do was talk with the leaders of the Islamic community and everything will be fine. Of course the USA will announce every troop withdraw well in advance, how else will they know when to attack?!

Print Smith, I think you nailed it on the head. Who gives a flying F*** about a few thousand 18-25 year old troops that will likely get their asses shot off because of the well publicized withdraw plans when the CIC's personal position in the US tower of power is at stake?! Certainly one individual politician's fame and re-election is far more important than a few thousand troops lives. Given the current state of the US economy hundreds of new recruits are lining up in front of the meat grinder because there are no new jobs to get, there is a steady supply of young people to feed the war machine. Besides, there are far too many people on the planet anyhow; to quote Jello Biafra (Google it and get ready for some 1980's punk rock) "LET'S HAVE A WAR, WE NEED THE SPACE..."

Looks like he is upsetting the Dems more than the Republicans with this so called Drawdown. He is only drawing down the ammount that he added with the surge. And conveniently 23,000 are coming home just a couple months before the next Presidential election. He is all about show and votes disregarding what is best for this nation. Always has been.
