So which is it?
Last week Barack Obama blamed ATMs and automation for killing jobs.
FOX Nation reported:
President Obama explained to NBC News that the reason companies aren’t hiring is not because of his policies, it’s because the economy is so automated. … “There are some structural issues with our economy where a lot of businesses have learned to become much more efficient with a lot fewer workers. You see it when you go to a bank and you use an ATM, you don’t go to a bank teller, or you go to the airport and you’re using a kiosk instead of checking in at the gate.”
But that was so last week.
Today in his Weekly Address Barack Obama said that automation creates jobs.
The AP reported:
President Barack Obama says technological innovations such as robots can help pump jobs into the economy and spur growth in clean energy and advanced manufacturing.
In his radio and Internet address Saturday, the president echoed a plan he unveiled Friday in Pittsburgh to join the federal government, universities and corporations and re-ignite American manufacturing with an emphasis on cutting-edge research and new technologies.
“Their mission is to come up with a way to get ideas from the drawing board to the manufacturing floor to the marketplace as swiftly as possible, which will help create quality jobs, and make our businesses more competitive,” Obama said in his address.
Do you ever get the idea the community organizer in chief is winging it?
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Where is that sacrism font when you need it? Never the less, the POTUS has made two conflicting public proclamations and few are defending his statements. Is automation (re-worded for the common person) more gooder or more badder?
Never mind, it's lost in the turmoil of the rest of the national and international crises.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

That's okay... I always got confused when I thought about that "Mission Accomplished" sign when we were still in a war.
And I still get confused when I think of someone saying "We don't use torture", when they admit that they are waterboarding. I guess it's the nature of the beast....

Bush Bush Bush Bush Bush... You gotta Bush outta your head. It's turning into an obsession for you. After all if your hero can change his mind 180 degrees in a week, maybe you should try to follow his example.

Oh, you mean like when the left pointed out all the stupid things bush did 2001-2008, all we got back was "Clinton, Clinton, Clinton", and of course that was different? Ok, got it...
