Australia went all green but then realized after spending billions trying to reduce emissions they were shipping coal to countries without pollution controls.
China is starting to consider going green as the pollution levels in Beijing continue to endanger lives.
Since China pollutes more than the US now, this is key.
India? This is going to be a tougher nut to crack. Easier for dictatorships like China to make changes than a do nothing democracy like the former British colony.
So there is some hope, but plenty that is out of the control of western nations.
And setbacks? Europe shutting down clean nuclear plants and replacing them with coal.
Same with Japan. The new Japanese leader Abe is looking at bringing back nuclear power but you can imagine it will be tough to get passed.
