Obama to cut Social Security and raise income taxes?

66 million voted for Obama last time vs. 58 million for McCain. Those are facts, Viking - you know, those things that you think only conservatives own?

Well the question is will Obama still get the liberal and senior citizen votes he got last time if he cuts Social Security? If it's done as proposed, he will do as both parties have done in the past and say it isn't really a cut, but just a reduction of increases. We'll see how that works.

And if the Republicans can nominate a candidate that the Independents can stomach, Obama will lose many of them as well do to the economy (unless a miracle happens in the next year).

So far as the proposed income tax increase goes, I don't know how they'll explain it. They'll probably just hope nobody notices, and maybe that's why the Republicans might agree to it.

And you think all those people are going to fall for his lies again?? No one is THAT stupid! He will be lucky to get 40% of the koolaid drinkers no matter who he runs against after everything he was done to this country, our economy, our national debt, all the lies to the Dems to get him to vote, the promises that he broke and everything else. Anyone voting for him now really doesn't care much about the future of our great country and wehre it is headed.

You really think people are going to fall for the Republican lies again? No one is THAT stupid! The Republican sacrificial nominee will be lucky to get 40% of the koolaid drinkers after everything the conservatives have done to this country, to our economy, to our national debt, listening to all the lies the Republicans tell to get votes, the promises that they break and everything else. Anyone voting for a Republican now really doesn't care much about the future of our great country and where it is headed.

OMFG! :rofl :rofl More proof that you think everything in the world is right and left!!!! :bash :bash You cannot for a second think outside of your "Libs = Bad, Reps = Good" box, can you?

Of course you will vote for whomever the Republican nominee is, because you can't come up with the courage to think for yourself and will vote party line no matter what. I'll bet that even if the R's nominate David Duke, you would vote for him. No brainer there!

Now that we've sufficiently insulted each other, let me give you some advice that you will most likely ignore. Try altering your views of the world, Viking. It's not a sports game where one side wins and one side loses, only to play again next Sunday. Not everything that liberals and Obama propose is bad. You have just been led to think that way. For that matter, not everything that conservatives propose is bad, either. Okay?

It looks to me like it's the GOP field of challengers who seem totally unable to raise any amounts of money... If I had your lineup of dingbats to choose from, I would be staying at home too...

Not true. I would vote for anyone who is for smaller government, less taxes, less spending,

Not true. I would vote for anyone who is for smaller government, less taxes, less spending, someone who doesn't put global warming above jobs and logic, someone who doesn't believe that government control of practically anything is good, and someone who knows that socialized medicine that is going to cost us more, raise our premiums, and hurt our healthcare system, and raise our debt over $1 trillion, is not a good thing. Someone who believes students and employees should come first above all Unions. If there is a Democrat who believes in this, I will vote for them. It isn't the party, it is the candidate. But Obama is 100% opposite of all of this!
