An article written back in 2006 called It's the Conservatism, Stupid!
The title tells me all I need to know; not a single fact in either paragraph just someone's opinion. 4th grade school children can build a more convincing argument and sneak a few facts in to support their position while they are at it.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
It's incredibly stupid to try to reduce everyone to cardboard cutoutlike stereotypes. I guess it makes it easy to dismiss everything outside your worldview without having to bother to examine it. It's easy to live a life where your opinions are unchallenged and unexamined.

My mind is open, especially to suggestions that might lead to solutions and the betterment of mankind. Name calling and attempts to provoke others who have beliefs other than your own are simply that, running down anyone who doesn't share your point of view. Use facts to support your arguments and your credibility will increase. Use other people's opinions and call them facts and anyone who is paying attention will see right through you.

That's it in a nutshell. The most ignorant thing you can do is take examples from a small group and assume they are the same as the entire group. Sounds like how racism is spread does it not?
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Except about the whole freedom thing. The progressives are going to give people a secure retirement and low cost medical care after retirement! By forcing you to pay every paycheck along with your employer in a brilliant Ponzi scheme..
