Obama has agreed to Reid's plan which does not raise taxes.

Obama reiterated his call for achieving lower deficits though spending cuts and new tax revenues. But in a notable retreat, he voiced support for a Senate Democratic plan that would reduce deficits by about $2.7 trillion over 10 years only with spending cuts, not with additional revenue.

Honestly, I'd like to know what makes you think that.

Well, he already started a war in Lybia on his own without going to congress, because he thinks he knows what is best for America.

And now both the D's and R's have plans to raise the debt ceiling without raising taxes. Obama is still the only one fighting to raise taxes and refusing to compromise.

Assisting the United Nations with a police action (or whatever the hell it is) is now an act of a dictator? Having different ideas about what is best for America is now the act of a dictator?

So the Republicans give him 3 or 4 bills which he says he will veto without even looking at them because they don't include tax increases. Reid gives him one with no tax increases and he agrees to it? It is total partisan politics. He is just playing games trying to give the Dems credit no matter what is best for America. He has to go!

Viking....please catch up on what's going on before you post. Reids plan raises the debt ceiling thru 2012... The Republicans plan will put the country through all this again in. 6 to 9 months....how incredibly stupid is that? Obama should veto that irresponsible approach.

We are working with NATO. Has the UN gotten involved?
