Speaking of tactics, were there not some unconventional tactics used to get the health care bill passed (rammed) in Congress? Didn't they short cut the normal conference process between the Senate and House? Where was the bi-partisan compromise?

Its all ugly and its Washington DC politics.

Will the lies of the left never stop?
tar baby - n. A situation or problem from which it is virtually impossible to disentangle oneself.
The only racist application of the word is when it is used to describe a very dark skinned black infant, which fits neither the description of the executive nor the context in which it was used by Congressman Lamborn. Race baiting is the only apt description of your actions here archer.

You hypocrites cry and wail about the hateful rhetoric, then your best "heavy hitters" go and say the most hateful of all. I could care less what Biden says because he is inept and utterly worthless as a leader, and his and Obama's last days are coming...but not soon enough. You should be proud.

You guys hate Bush so much, he must have been bashing the media that hated him and the left right? Show me the money. I thought if was funny how mr thin skin Obama immediately came out swinging against radio talk show hosts like Limbaugh and Hannity...what a p#ssy.

Why are you lying about the president or vice president referring to a massive population of American citizens as terrorists? Why do you have to make stuff up in order to be "outraged"?

What were two Republicans thinking, calling Obama 'tar baby' and 'boy'?

The specter of two national Republican figures apologizing for calling President Obama, the first African-American president, alternately a "tar baby" and "boy" gave new fuel to speculation on the left that, underneath much of the criticism of the president and his policies, lurks the shadow of racism.

The only thing you need to do to fuel speculation of racism on the left is register as a Republican. That simple act alone raises the question in their mind. The professional race baiting segment of the left will find any excuse to create intrigue, taking something out of context for that purpose is something they specialize and indulge in on a regular basis.

Oh, not true... I'm going to re-register as a Republican... And I KNOW that racism is alive and well in the party...

What I love is that every time one of the neo-cons/neo-nazis makes the mistake of saying what they're REALLY thinking, they end up apologizing for it within 48 hours.... If it was a figment of someone's imagination, I doubt that they would apologize....)

Racism exists in every party LJ. There are always going a few bad apples in any large group. Racism certainly exists, but not nearly to the extent imagined by the professional race baiters whose sole intent is to find something that could, if taken out of context, be labeled as racist. Taken in context, Lamborn's comments compared the trap that Obama laid for Republicans with the one that Br'er Fox laid for Br'er Rabbit. What, pray tell, is racist about comparing the two traps as being difficult to extricate one's self from once ensnared?

Funny yet sad thing is that the majority (around 39) of registered Tea Party representatives are white men who live in the southeast, former Confederate States.... seems quite peculiar eh?
