Very true...yes, it's time for the redistribution schemes to STOP! Revenue would increase if everyone had skin in the game...a flat tax on all income. Boy, it would engage 50% of Americans into politics who don't pay anything...and mainly get something out of it.

Put limits on Congress on the days in Session....make it a part time job.

Congress get no retirement pay...and must participate in Social Security.
Past Presidents must reimbursement for security and other perks based upon need. Clinton makes millions giving speeches yet we provide security for free.

I have no issue with that either....maybe then we would get people running for congress who are actually interested in running the country and not in a lifetime income.

The issue of empty flights is similar to government-subsidized bus service to rural towns. The bus companies don't want to stop in small towns but the government pays them to maintain the route.

Not the tea partiers. That is the point.

I would be willing to bet that the tea partiers in Ely, or Casper, or Riverton, or wherever else this happens would scream bloody murder if you affected their program. I agree with their philosophy regarding government spending on a certain level, but they've got a ton of hypocrites that want every program slashed except for the ones that benefit them personally.

No, that is a republican. If a tea party elected official gets corrupted, we Lynch them. Got plenty of rope, and a switch.

Archer, the Democrats have had their place in government for over 100 years...there are more crooks in the Democrat Party than Tea Party could even try to muster.
