America is a relatively prude society when it comes to nudity. Many nations press make a regular habit of posting what American's would perceive as soft porn. Visit any beach on the northern Mediterranean ocean and you can easily spot the Americans, they are the ones with their heads on a swivel. IMHO, public nudity in many societies is not an invitation for sexual activity but more a practical function of hot weather and enjoying a beach front environment.
