I'm in Manchester England connecting flights..Although dissapointed that I did'nt get credit for the man eater, I do believe I caught it yesterday. I believe the honeymooner that was recently devoured was fully digested when I caught it though and there was no proof he was the one. The trip was profitable though- They were paying 13,000 rubies ($900+ American) for any shark over 4 meters and I got 6 in 2 days..We spent half of it at returaunts, lodging, beer and hash, but I still netted a $3000 profit. Pictures when I get home.

Government against indiscriminate killing of sharks
Wednesday, 24 August 2011 07:45
Tuesday 23.8.2011: The government of Seychelles has reiterated in a Press Release today that it is against putting a bounty on sharks and the indiscriminate killing of sharks. It has reaffirmed the fact that it will apply internationally accepted best practices to address the problem based on advice from the shark experts.

“This is good news for conservationists, who greatly sympathize with the family of the victims and understand the impact of the attacks on the tourism industry, but were concerned about the wholesale slaughter of sharks and other marine animals,” said Nirmal Shah, the CEO of Nature Seychelles.

Two shark Experts, Mr. Geremy Cliff and Mr. Michael Anderson-Reade, from the Kwazulu- Natal Sharks Board have arrived in Seychelles to assist the Government of Seychelles with comprehensive prevention and safety measures, elimination of the potential danger and identification of other contributing factors

Don't belive everything you ead on the internet MM-The authorities were giddy when we pulled up to the dock with monsters tied up to the side of the boat...We were paid by someone from a "tourism department" and it was anything over 4 meters. We got almost 6k (78,000 rupies) and only spent $2800, so all in all it was a great adventure. I'd still be there if it werent for this college football season starting.

Oh and BTW.. .Lil Precious reeled one 12 1/2 footer in herself. I'm so proud of her. She's still sore-

I did soften it up for her but she brought it up to the boat all by herself. She's double tough for her size
