Heard this about GE

General Electric is moving its x-ray division from Wisconsin to China.

General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing. In addition to moving the headquarters, the company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers.

This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion in the United States last year, but paid no taxes
- the same company that employs more people overseas than it does in the United States.

So let me get this straight. President Obama appointed GE Chairman Jeff Immelt to head his commission on job creation (job czar). Immelt is supposed to help create jobs. I guess the President forgot to tell him in which country he was supposed to be creating those jobs.

Snopes says it is true.

It is true- Obama's job czar- the #1 guy working for Obama to create jobs- is actively exporting jobs to China. What do all the lefties think about it- not a word, not a peep.

If this is how Obama creates jobs- watch out because there's more where that came from.

Talk about hypocrisy- this is the textbook definition of it.

Yep, I worked there during the "Neutron Jack" Welch years. I'm also surprised Obama picked a GE CEO for jobs Czar, should have picked an Alt Energy company. :)

I am completely baffled. The feds sue to make Boeing stay in a state to pamper the unions... but the prez's appointed boss of job creation lets GE - a major defense contractor - move more of its operations overseas... to China, of all places.

Why do I get the feeling that Obama is all about the destruction of America? Just can't put my finger on it... .

Yeah it can.

Two things from the Snopes link:

1. It will result in NO job losses

2. The GE X-Ray Division employs 120 people
