He tried, but LOOK who's to blame

What an interesting video. It's clear where the blame lies for the housing bubble collapse, no matter how much deflection LJ attempts. In hindsight those self proclaimed visionaries and intellectuals (D) look mighty foolish when compared to the warnings given them by the reviled R crowd. So who is it that has ruined this country? I think the video makes that point rather clear. It was not the wars that collapsed the housing market and brought about the economic turndown. History shows it to be the myopic D visionaries voting along party lines. Taking this a step further, we see the same kind of guidance and thought continuing the downward slide in this administration and with the liberals on this board. There is something to be said for the tried and true as opposed to striking off on unchartered paths. Americans deserves to see this video, so why would it get pulled? Why is it there is so much difficulty owning up to the truth of the matter?

How wrong can the usual suspects be this time? Let me count the ways:

Numero uno: I found the video on YouTube with no problem. Who yanked it and when? Did it magically reappear for me? What sh*te.

Numero dos: I saw absolutely nothing in the video of GWB warning anyone about anything. What did I miss and where in the video is it hiding? What sh*te, redux.

Numero tres: If you or any of your fellow travelers had even the most rudimentary knowledge of the housing crisis/debacle, you would stop posting such ignorant swill. There is blame to go around but the bulk of it goes to the regulation averse (those that gutted regulations in order to allow the banksters, et al, their free market fantasies of wanton greed and destruction) and those (GWB and his Ownership Society ) who foisted those policies on an ill-informed and gullible public.

Numero quatro: Brit effing Hume? Fox News [sic]? They are hoping to do for GWB what they have done for Reagan; rewrite history, create a false legacy i.e. lie, distort, distract, divert, delude. And the dopes fall for it every time.

After watching the video.....I have to wonder why, if the Republicans were so concerned, didn't they do something when they had control of congress? I hear that accusation all the time from conservatives when they are blaming Obama for anything and everything bad that happens......will we now finally hear them blame Bush for not regulating fannie and freddy when he had a Republican congress?

......it is hard to think of the GOP and regulation, did they really push for regulation of these banks? How about other banks, or did they just want to regulate fannie and freddie? Is everyone forgetting the role BoA and Countrywide etc had in the housing bubble? They were hardly innocent.....where was the call to regulate them?
