HOFFA: Everybody here's got to vote. If we go back and keep the eye on the prize, let's take these son of a bitches out and give America back to America where we belong! Thank you very much!

When read in context, I interpret Hoffa's remarks as "let's vote these son of a bitches out of office" not "let's put a mafia hit on these guys."

I guess you'll read into it what you want to read into it. I suppose that if you think that teamsters and unions are full of thugs, then you probably think that he was calling for violence and murder against those in office.

I would hate to see what these guys think of football talk, like "killing" the other team.

Oh, you mean like when somebody says, "Don't retreat...Reload..." Like that?

I used to work with the teamsters. I had worker friends who dared to cross a picket line have their wives threatened at home, pets poisoned or hung in a tree.

To say the least, when they make statements such as this, I take them differently, due to my personal experience.

To quote my old union steward. "You don't ***k with the teamsters". He made that clear to all new employees.

Regardless, I expect nothing less from a union thug. This is how they talk.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Well if you had been wearing cement boots at the bottom of some lake or flooded quarry somewhere since July 1975, you would have potty mouth and a bad attitude too.

Maybe someone should take this guy "swimming" too. With a name like that, I'd be walking on egg shells. rofllol

Sounds like Hoffa has declared war to me with a army of blue collar union workers.

Luckily his army is full of Fifth Columnists, union members who support the TEA Party.

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

Sounds like the GOP has declared war to me too:

"Don't retreat...Reload..."

Luckily, there are many progressive whistleblowers in the teabagger movement who support sanity.

Those who live by the sword, will die by the sword! Kinda like hoffa's father...and the nut he produced, will not be far behind...
