Nice to know that some pol's are looking at what is good for the country unstead of what will get them reelected. :Censored
As he barnstormed again on Wednesday, Mr. Obama told voters in North Carolina, "If you love me, you've got to help me pass this bill," but even some members of Congress from that state may prefer to stay just friends.
Senator Kay Hagan declined on Wednesday to say her support for the bill that Mr. Obama spent the day promoting in her state was indubitable. "We've got to have legislation that is supported by Democrats and Republicans," she said. "I'm going to have to look at it. "
To me it looks less like a game changing bill, more like a Hans Brinker attempt to stick a finger in the dike and pay for union teachers, police, and firefighters to work for another couple years.
I am sure their unions will appreciate this stop-gap measure.

I saw Obama entering the stage for a speech, with his long sleeves rolled up, dancing around like a damn cheerleader.
It's like watching the end of the movie Tin Cup. Obama has failed so many times with his 'stimulus', but he keeps taking the drop in the same spot. The difference between Obama and Kevin Costner's character is that Obama's already out of balls.
"Whatever you are, be a good one." ~ Abraham Lincoln
Does anyone else wonder why this is even called a "jobs" bill? Shouldn't it be called the "economic stimulus lite" bill, or the re-elect me campaign bill? Why do people let politicians pull this crap? There is little or no direct job creation in this bill, just winging some more money toward the economy.
