Martin, the difference between you and those who blindly follow their false Messiah is that you assessed the promises against what was delivered and concluded that you were lied to. You are not a Sap, you are merely the victim of a popular message and promises that turned out to be lies.
Back off track... I can't say I know what a "princible" is but if I have to stand on something it would be the ground and the truth. Those who can't or won't admit the truth about their elected officials are only fooling themselves and defending a cause that is doomed to fail, potentially at the expense of the continued existence of our nation.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

I don't know how you see yourself but on every issue you favor Corporate over Government and Government over People. Youre a f-ing Tea Bagger, otherwise known as Corporate Americas Useful Idiots
I don't care who you are, that there is funny. A group of folks who want to reduce the size and power of the federal government, limit the amount of money it is allowed to spend to a rather small percentage of the nation's annual production, have decided to mount a primary challenge against the current Speaker of the House prefer government over people. It's a good thing I gave up trying to understand "progressive" logic years ago. This example might have me scratching my head for hours trying to figure it out.
