Yes I have Tampa FL, guy killed his girlfreind, all evidence was circumstantial. He said he was somewhere else and it was a stalker, a homeless person, etc.
Only thing was solid was eye witness. Only 1 and then expert testimonies from specialists.
Only 1 juror wasn't sure at first but after reading the transcripts and all discussing the testimonies we convicted.

COUPLE of things here.....you did NOT indicate if he was black/white/asian/hispanic....AND there is a BIG difference with 1 person account,as
opposed to SEVERAL. The MORE eyewitness that are involved, the more variance for interpretation, details of the account. Do you wish
to discuss the "Jena Six" case??? Because there were MANY witnesses, many stories,MANY perspectives and the end the sentence was
EXTREMELY harsh for the offense..... Sorry, your flat, myopic view of things seems naive at best, and egotistical in general...JMO
If you sat on a case and were not briefed on the problems with eyewitnesses the defense attorney was negligent. It is simply not sufficient for the absolute certainty required to take another humans life. I believe the death penalty is inconsistent with Christian beliefs and so I would not be seated on a jury where the death penalty is being sought.
