I suspect there's more to this story (and a cover story that will come out if Holder has to answer for this operation); If Holder is made to testify I'm guessing there will be a rush of comparisons between this scandal and Iran-Contra. I can hear it now, "...it's not the first time the US Government provided weapons to controversial organizations..." Maybe not, but it's the first incident I'm aware of that the US Government provided weapons to Mexican drug cartels.

Any liberal want to comment on the actual topic, or is personal bickering all you got?

The liberal Denver Post had an article this morning saying Bush's ATF had a similar program, release guns to domestic felons and track them.

How about shutting down the ATF or giving them a tough nanny that would go after actual gun crimes instead of flooding the market with illegal guns?

Serious? Have you SEEN the libs on here? They have no actual discussion skills. I wouldn't hold your breath. This is a criminal action at best! He totally lied to congress. It is Perjury 101. And Obama knew too. They set up Americans to be killed and knew it and tried to hide it. The new papers they found only prove that Holder knew over a year ago and was kept up on it many times but he flat out lied and said he only found out about it a few weeks ago.

If he lied, I'm sure Congress will take actions against him, as they have other AG's who have lied.

What will have to be proven is that Holder saw the memos in question. It's like mailing a letter. You can prove it was mailed, but can you prove it was read?

I'll wait for the facts to come out in a court of law and let justice take its course.

Good point. I get more than 100 e-mails a day and you can bet I ignore most of them. And the ones I do read often aren't acted on. Plus you have to figure if the ATF is telling you about their crimes, they are going to try and describe them in ways that gloss over the damage.
