The chick pictured above is Gerogette Mosbacher, a “Top GOP official,” who told reporters, “We do not consider Perry a factor…We know who will be our nominee.”
Now, I had a couple of reactions when I read this article. First, I’m not sure what her bangs are doing, but whatever it is, they disturb me. Second, I’m put off by that statement and the “we” attached to it. Since when does ONE little group within the party dictate who will be the nominee? There still is a primary, right? I mean, I realize that Georgette is probably a very important person to all the other important people in that room she is pictured in (even though I’ve never heard of her until today), but we live in a republic, where a voting MAJORITY of folks actually choose a candidate.

What tail are you referring to?
I think it's healthy for both parties to have different groups within them reshaping and evolving instead of these lifer politicians keeping the status quo alive. My hope is that both parties get shaken up enough to finally limit themselves to shorter terms, more accountability, and less corruption.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
