Meet America’s ’53%’ – And They Have a Message for the ’99%’

Imagine that! These kids have degrees and can't find jobs after voting Obama into office....and then they blame the banks for no jobs and their student loans.

The brainwashing of young minds by liberal educators is corrosive and exploitative.

I wouldn't count on them not finding a voter registration card. But I can't argue with the second part of your statement, because if you can't find a job and you aren't getting any food stamps or anything, you wouldn't be protesting, you'd be DEAD.

Really?

I know a lot of people who get nothing from the government and are out of work, looking for jobs. They sell their stuff, they do an odd job when it comes up - and they aren't dead. Living without just about everything peopl ehere take for granted, but far from dead.

I'll try Bill, but the rest of you I'll ignore at present because you only seem to be howling the party line and aren't really interested in actual discussion.

So.

Bill.

Consider.

I don't see this as a problem of (horrors!) taking from the wealthy to give to the poor.

It isn't a problem of "taking" at all. This isn't a suggestion to raise taxes.

It's a problem not of what people are allowed to keep, it's a problem of what has happened since the early 1980s that has resulted in a VERY small group of people arranging things so that almost all the gains of the economy in that period accrued to them.

Not to you.

Not to me.

But to a few hundred unimaginably wealthy people.

Again, this isn't about taxing them.

It's about figuring out how they rigged the game so that the United States of America no longer has a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, but instead has a government for the benefit of a very few who have succeeded beyond imagination in shifting an ever-growing percentage of the wealth of this country into their own pockets. And how, if they continue on the curve they have set out, are going to end with bankrupting and impovershing just about all of us.

Yes, even those of us with very good jobs. Yes, even those of us who are professionals. Yes, even those of us who own profitable small businesses.

It's not going our way.

There's a very deep rabbit hole here, and the first step you can take towards getting a sense of it is to stop chasing the bunny tails labelled things like "Obama is a Communist" and "Perry is Hitler reincarnated".

If you want to have any hope at all of understanding what is really going on, you've got to stop snapping at the bait, you've got to stop responding like Pavlov's dogs every time some purveyor of propaganda hits your hot buttons.

No offense AV, but I've heard the complaints over and over but you didn't give me a single SOLUTION. Wave your magic wand and change whatever you want, big or small...what is your answer to this great caapitalist injustice?

And I'll try to decifer your last statement...I'll try.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I suggested ways you could start to consider solutions, but you chose instead to throw the entire problem (which was not created by me or mine) back at me.

Read again what I've said.

Think.

And if you actually want to hear more about what I'm thinking, and not just scoff at stuff you don't want to bother to ponder on, we'll talk.
