Obama: DNC Changing Horses In Mid-Stream?

And to a certain extent, Obama's latest campaign talks have been admitting that the economy is worse than it was 4 years ago. Are they preparing the public to replace Obama with another choice, possibly Hilary Clinton?

If his polling numbers get down to the 30's, I could see a scenario where Barack resigns for health or family reasons and Hilary Clinton is drafted at the convention or before. I do think the nomination of Hilary will inspire women to vote for her.

A few years ago they did the same thing in New Jersey. The incumbent Senator (D) wasn't going to win, so they replaced him at the last minute and the Dems won the election.

What chance do you see this happening? 10%? 50%? Somewhere in between. I think if it does happen, it will be a late call, after they know who will be the Republican nominee.

I said a while back that Hillary on the ticket would almost be a lock for the Dems. They are getting pretty deflated since Obama can't run on his performance, so they need another shot of "hope".

Biden has resorted to indoctrinating 5th graders now.....he must be running out of audience that respects what he says.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I'd give it better than 50% chance. Personally, I think the wheels are already in motion to pull Obama off the ticket.

No way the Dems would do that, that would be admitting that Obama was mistake.

I posted some time ago I had a hunch Obama would not seek reelection.

I don't think Hillary has the pull others here do.

In all, given the economy and the lackluster candidates on the other side, I'm not very positive about the country's future.

Obama would never resign, but Hillary as vp would at least breath a little life into a dying administration....even if it's just symbolic.

Look at the dem senators up for reelection that will not
support his "jobs bill". They care more about keeping there seats than admitting a mistake.

He will not resign but if polling next year show him losing and tanking the party with him, I think he would not run.

With a bilion dollars behind his campaign, how could he not run? Think of all the class warfare and personal attack commercials they could make. He's going to run on anger and divisiveness which will work well for his base. I also think he's pretty pleased with this new protest and will try to shape himself as champion against Wall Street (even though facts show a different story).

If the economy stays down a billion won't help. He has a very successful record of winning elections. If his #'s stay down, I think he would rather quit a winner than risk loosing reelection.

I hope you're right. If the R loses, I'd much rather have some other Dem that has a clue.
